Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Privett, the service at useprivett.com run by Welto Limited (company number 14630258, registered office 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF), a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”).

Privett is for businesses, not consumers. It's built for estate and letting agencies. By creating an account or running a free scan, you accept these terms on behalf of the business you represent, and confirm you're allowed to do so. Consumer protection law that applies only to consumers doesn't apply to these terms.

Privett asks AI assistants the questions people ask about agents in your area, records which agencies they name and how, and suggests changes that may help.

• We don't guarantee results. AI assistants are run by other companies, change often and give different answers at different times. We report what they said when we asked. We don't promise any ranking, visibility, mentions, enquiries, valuations or instructions, and following our suggestions may not change how any assistant answers.
• Recommendations are suggestions. Drafts we generate, such as website copy, structured data and review requests, are drafts. Check them before you publish, and make sure they're accurate and lawful, including advertising, consumer protection and estate agency rules.
• AI answers are third-party content. We store and show them as evidence, but we don't write them and aren't responsible for what they say.
• This isn't legal, financial or professional advice.

• Keep your sign-in details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• An owner of an organisation can invite and remove team members.
• Give us accurate branch details. You must be authorised to act for any agency whose branch you track.

• Paid plans (Starter, Pro and Agency) are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider, Stripe, at the prices on our pricing page when you subscribe. Agency is billed per branch, with a minimum of 2. Prices are in pounds. We're not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added. If that changes, we'll email account owners at least 30 days before VAT is added to your bill.
• Your subscription renews automatically. It continues month to month, and we charge the payment method on file at the start of each month, until you cancel. We don't send a reminder before each monthly renewal.
• You can cancel at any time in Settings, under Billing, without contacting us. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you've paid for, then scheduled scans stop and no further payments are taken. We don't refund part-months, except where the law requires it.
• If you move to a higher plan or add branches, the change applies straight away and you pay a pro-rata amount for the rest of the month. If you move to a lower plan or remove branches, the change applies from your next renewal.
• We may change our prices. We'll email account owners at least 30 days before a new price applies, and it applies from your next renewal after that. You can cancel before then if you don't want to continue.
• If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it. If it still can't be collected, we may pause scans or end the subscription.

Free scans are limited to one per agency, with further limits per email address and per network, to prevent misuse. A free scan doesn't start a subscription and you won't be charged for it. We may change or stop offering free scans at any time.

Don't:

• use Privett to break the law, or another company's terms (including the AI providers' terms);
• try to get around plan limits, free scan limits or security;
• copy, scrape, resell or redistribute the service or its data, except to share your own results within your business or with your advisers;
• add a branch you're not authorised to act for;
• interfere with the service or other customers.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

• You own your data: your account and branch details, and the questions you track. You give us permission to use it to provide Privett.
• We own Privett: the software, design, methods, recommendations and reports, and the scan data we collect (the AI answers and our analysis of them). You may use your reports within your business.
• We may use scan results in aggregated or anonymised form, for example to improve our recommendations and to publish town league tables showing how often AI assistants name agencies.
• How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy notice.

We aim to keep Privett available and accurate but can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. AI providers may change or limit their services, which can affect scans. We may change features as the product develops. If a change significantly reduces what your paid plan includes, you can cancel and we'll refund any amount you've paid for the period after the change.

• Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
• We're not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, instructions or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss.
• Otherwise, our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, or £100 if you used only free features.
• You're responsible for what you publish, including drafts we've suggested.

You can cancel your plan at any time (see section 4) and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we stop offering Privett, we'll give at least 30 days' notice and refund any fees you've paid for the period after it ends.

• We may update these terms. We'll email account owners about significant changes at least 30 days before they apply.
• If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
• These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
